Canavese e Monferrato Wine&Food
February 18th - 23rd - Ivrea, Vercelli, Asti (Piedmont)


In July, during Collisioni Festival, Piedmont hosts rockstars from all over the world. This February, in Piedmont - in Monferrato and Canavese areas - will land great chefs from all over Europe for a new event that will take place on February 18th to 23rd thanks to the initiative of Consorzio Vini DOCG Caluso, Carema e Canavese, in collaboration with Consorzio Barbera D'Asti e Vini del Monferrato and Consorzio Riso di Baraggia, created and organized by Progetto Wine & Food di Collisioni e dal suo direttore Creativo Ian D'Agata. Title will be Gastronomix! protagonists will be wine, food, Piedmont and European cuisine. A "culinary collision" between local and international chefs, round-tables, tastings, wine&food pairings, laboratories and dinners open to public.

The event will see its conclusion in two dinners open to the general audience on Friday 22nd and Saturday 23rd of February.

Friday, February 22nd at "L’Angolo del Beato" in Asti,
 Gunnar Forssell, from Sweden will cook a traditional dinner

Saturday, February 23rd Michelin-starred restaurant Ca’ Vittoria di Tigliole d’Asti will host a dinner by UK Chef Charlie Tayler, from Alyn Williams in London.

Both dinners are open to public, upon reservation, and will feature a selection of wines included in the price thanks to Consorzio Barbera d'Asti e Vini del Monferrato  e Consorzio Vini DOCG Caluso, Carema e Canavese.
